The Project

Work started earlier in the year to build a new Community Hall in Pant Y Dwr, Nr. Rhayader for the district of St. Harmon and Pant Y Dwr.
The project involved the building of a new community hall and the demolition of the old steel community hall which would become the entrance and car park.
The old steel hall pictured above has now been demolished to form the new entrance and car park for the new hall.

New Construction

The new hall construction, timber frame, brick walls and Cambrian slate roof.

 Internal View

Internal view of the timber frame construction.

The Cambrian slate roof completed and the brickwork now well under way.

 Customised Floor

The land upon which the hall is being built is mildly contaminated and therefore the floor inside the hall has to have a special membrane to protect against Radon and C02 gas, with particular detail around the inlets for service pipe work.

Powder coated aluminium windows.

The project at 9th August 2012 is now taking shape, will walls plaster boarded, mechanical and electrical second fix stage, steel roller shutters to bar and kitchen hatches.

 Project Completion

The project is due for completion in September 2012.
